On Tuesday, December 19, more than thirty 7th graders from Wedgewood Park International School in Milwaukee stopped by TRG Marketing for a presentation and tour showcasing our business.
This was an opportunity for our team to plant some seeds and get the students thinking about potential future careers in marketing.
During their nearly two-hour visit, the students participated in business exercises, which included editing a business letter for a professional award nomination, developing ways to improve a website, and building a brand and promotional campaign for a fictional company.
Before ending the day, the students sampled wings and French fries prepared with sauces and seasonings made by Excalibur Seasoning, a client of TRG Marketing. Votes were cast on their favorite selections and taste experiences.
The visit was part of the “Be the Spark” program, which introduces students to a variety of job opportunities at businesses throughout the Milwaukee area. The program is put on by the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) and the Council of Small Business Executives (COSBE). TRG Marketing President Chad Ritterbusch is a member of the COSBE Roundtable.
Our sincerest thanks to the MPS 7th graders, their chaperones and teacher who joined us at TRG Marketing.
