The ingredients for a successful marketing campaign include strategy based on strong messaging, a specific call to action targeted at a well-defined audience. But don’t forget creativity. There is still a valuable role to be played by strong creative that catches the reader’s attention and helps tell your story.
American Tree Experts (ATE) recently launched a direct mail campaign to help educate its potential customers about the growing dangers of Emerald Ash Borer in southeastern Wisconsin. What they delivered was not only educational, but an incredibly creative visual. Since its execution, ATE has fielded dozens of new prospect calls and received numerous compliments on the post card’s design. It was a perfect union between strategy and creative.
