Congratulations to Jacob Werre, who is now an account supervisor for our firm.
When Jacob came on board at TRG Marketing as an intern from Wisconsin Lutheran College in 2014, he took to his role immediately and appeared more like a colleague to us than a college student paying his dues. Once he accepted the opportunity to join us full-time a year later, it was a seamless transition.
Over the years, we’ve also come to recognize his personal favorites: a penchant for Mountain Dew, deer hunting, all things Star Wars and making time to be there for his family and friends. You should also know that Jacob has a talent for whipping up a tasty batch of Scotcharoos for the office now and then. Our team gifted him with a bar pan for his birthday one year hoping to encourage his skill. (It worked.)
Here’s what some of Jacob’s colleagues are saying about him…
“Jacob is an invaluable member of team TRG,” says Mike Shefky. “He’s quick to plug in and contributes meaningfully to most any situation.”
TRG President Chad Ritterbusch adds, “Jacob’s character, way with people and technical savvy have endeared him to clients and colleagues alike.”
“Jacob has a desire to keep learning,” says Marc Whitney. “He challenges – and encourages – all of us to keep doing great work.”
“If only I had Jacob’s steady wisdom when I was his age,” quips Aileen Smith. “Heck, if only I had it now!”
To me, Jacob’s professional manner is to “keep calm and carry on.” He does not stray from that, even if a project takes an unexpected turn. He holds court as a regular guy with a “how-can-I-help, can-do” attitude and demonstrates a genuine concern for others.
It’s why he’s a terrific fit for TRG Marketing where, “The Golden Rule Applies.”
