Excalibur Seasoning is a meat & seafood seasoning company located in Pekin, Illinois. They’ve built a 30+ year reputation on supplying national grocers, regional meat processors, and hometown butchers with high quality and great tasting seasonings, rubs, and sauces. However, despite their fantastic products, leadership realized their shallow approach to marketing was hindering their potential for growth. Excalibur contacted TRG Marketing for assistance.
TRG immediately set work on understanding the food manufacturing industry, learning the nuances of Excalibur’s clients, and zeroing on the differentiating aspects of both Excalibur’s products and their business. After weeks of collaborative investigation and high level discussion, TRG created a comprehensive marketing plan the deepened and diversified the company’s marketing activity to better communicate with their target audiences. A new logo, color scheme, brand map, brand book, and trade show booth were all created. Social media was embraced, and a regular cadence of communication established. Digital advertising and email marketing campaigns were also implemented. Additionally, TRG helped define the visual look and style for a new line of products, created a template for product packaging, and ultimately launched a new company website.
